Let It Be Is Back

Disney will soon re-release a Beatles documentary that hasn’t been available for four decades.  “Let It Be” will debut on Disney-Plus on May 8th after being out of circulation since the 1980s.  The film follows the band as they write and record what turned out to be their last released album and perform for the final time on the Apple Corps rooftop in 1969.  It has been restored by the same team behind Peter Jackson’s “The Beatles: Get Back” that hit Disney-Plus in 2021.  Jackson said he’s thrilled “Let It Be” will once again be available for fans to watch as he feels it completes the story told in “Get Back.” Here’s Paul singing the song to his bandmates for the first time.
