You Can Own John Lennon’s Guitar

John Lennon’s 12-string acoustic guitar that he played in the Beatles movie “Help!” was found in an attic after being missing for 50 years.  It’ll go on the auction block May 29th and it’s expected to fetch a high bid.  Here is John playing it on the album, and in the film, “Help!”.   Of Note:  Some speculate it could fetch more than Kurt Cobain’s acoustic guitar that sold for six million.  The guitar was played on “Norwegian Wood”, “Girl”, “I’ve Just Seen a Face”, and “It’s Only Love”.  The article says it was played by “most members” of the Beatles, but that would’ve only been John and George since Paul is left handed.   Lennon gifted the guitar to Gordon Waller of Peter & Gordon, who in turn later gave the guitar to its current owners.  For the past five decades, it has laid un-played.
